Can I have my teeth whitened?

Teeth whitening is more popular than ever, and we offer a variety of great teeth whitening options. We can normally whiten your teeth up to eight shades brighter. The results are long lasting, particularly if you take good care of your teeth and try to avoid those things that stained your teeth in the first place, such as smoking or coffee.

We also recommend that patients do touch-up whitening treatments at home at least once or twice a month. We will provide the home kit when you come for in-office whitening.

Something else to keep in mind is that we encourage anyone who is having any anterior (front teeth) restorations done to consider the shade of their teeth prior to having any crowns or large fillings placed. We match your restorations to the shade of the surrounding teeth. If years down the road you decide you want your smile to be whiter and brighter, the color of the existing crowns and fillings won't change the way your natural tooth structure does.

Before having your teeth professionally whitened, it’s a good idea to come in for a complete dental check-up and cleaning. We can ensure your good oral health before providing you with this cosmetic dental treatment.
