Cosmetic Dentistry

Many of us were not born with perfectly white, straight teeth.

If you are a person who feels self-conscious about their smile, you might think you are destined to avoid smiling or to keep hiding your smile behind your hand. But with today’s modern cosmetic dentistry, we can correct nearly any cosmetic dental problem that prevents you from smiling with confidence.

At Stasch Dental, we want you to enjoy your best possible smile so that you can get the most out of life. We offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures that can give you the smile you should have been born with. Give us a call, and Dr. Stasch will work with you to find the most cost-effective solution that delivers the best outcome.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening continues to be one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures. It’s affordable and quick; good whitening results can take place with just an hour or so in the dental chair.

This noninvasive dental treatment is an ideal way to enhance your smile by brightening your tooth enamel. We offer both in-office and take-home professional teeth whitening systems.

Teeth whitening lasts for a while but it is not permanent—especially if you smoke or drink coffee, tea, or wine. Touch-ups are usually necessary.

Porcelain Veneers

Many of the smiles you see in Hollywood are the result of porcelain veneers. These carefully crafted, wafer-thin porcelain shells are placed right over your natural teeth, camouflaging teeth that are crooked, stained, or otherwise problematic. Bonded into place permanently, veneers will give you a perfectly white and bright smile.

Composite Fillings

Gone are the days of unattractive, gray-colored amalgam fillings. Today we use composite fillings to repair teeth that are affected by decay, fractures, or cracks. The composite material is made to match the color your tooth, so it blends in seamlessly and is virtually undetectable. For this reason, composite fillings are perfect to use on front teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

There are practical uses for dental crowns, such as to cap a tooth that might be fractured because of an old filling or to protect the tooth structure after a root canal. They are also used cosmetically.

These restorations closely resemble your natural teeth in both shape and color. If you have a tooth that is so discolored that it is resistant to whitening or one that is shaped oddly or damaged, a crown can be crafted so the tooth blends in seamlessly with the rest of your mouth.

We offer CEREC technology at our Garden City dental practice, so now you can get a custom-crafted crown fabricated and placed in just one dental appointment.

Porcelain Fixed Bridges

It’s important to replace missing teeth, and one permanent solution is a dental bridge. With a dental bridge, you’ll no longer have to feel self-conscious about your smile, and you will be able to chew properly again as well.

A traditional bridge is made of porcelain fused to metal and consists of two crowns that go over the teeth next to the gap in your mouth. The bridge is then permanently attached to these crowns.
